Mentorship is one of the most important tools for professional development and has been linked to greater productivity, career advancement, and professional satisfaction.  At 4D Innovations, we believe in building for the future, not only in our innovations, but also by mentoring the next generation.  We maintain a culture of creativity, professional growth, and community that attracts the world’s brightest stars.   Our engineers share a passion to redefine what’s possible.

Over the many years of working with university and college professors, we have asked how many times they have had students with great ideas for new products they felt needed to come into existence but are unable to assist them due to the idea being outside their program or financial constraints.  Constantly and repeatedly we have heard that it is a very common occurrence.  We actively seek budding innovators that are willing to out-think and out-work their peers and give them a place to bring their ideas reality.

If chosen for mentoring, the candidate will build a wide scope of skills across all phases of the product life cycle, including: product development, product definition, the patent process, hardware/software support, product support, infrastructure support and more.  They will also meet amazing people across a wide range of disciplines and work with their mentor to define their career path.  The possibilities aren’t just limited to their job; they will also build relationships and experience through tours, informational interviews, technical and leadership training, and more. This is a chance to join an innovative team helping to shape the future.

Undergrad and graduate students interested in the program should email their resume/C.V. as well as a cover letter detailing their educations, training, subspecialty interests, practice/professional interests and the amount of time they are willing to commit to the program to info@4d-innovaitons.com.
